Svensk Medietext was founded in 2006 by experienced translators and subtitlers who previously worked at Swedish Television. Our business concept was to offer the media market language services and quality that were previously only found in public service broadcasting, with its stringent demands for correctness. Since then, the company has grown to become one of the foremost in the industry, and now provides subtitling, translation and accessibility services for quality-conscious customers such as SVT, TV4, YLE, Axess TV, Discovery/Kanal 5, Disney, SF Studios, Filmlance, the Swedish Film Institute, the Royal Dramatic Theatre and many creative production companies that work with drama, informational videos and advertising.

Our aim is to create a working environment and a corporate culture that embrace talent and a love of language. We have always had a close relationship with film and television production, so we understand the process. We work closely with our customers, tailoring solutions and adapting projects for them.
